"Having always found ways to express myself with photography the special memories of my childhood at the beach with sunrises, fresh air and ocean breezes are especially poignant. In some sense, my photography is my visual attempt to make sense of my feelings and the world around me. The beauty of nature has always astounded me.
There are so many things to rise above in life but also so many lights in the world. In my attempt to create I reach out to transform the difficult, painful, and ugly. Not interested in direct representation my work is an attempt to share the healing and light through intuitive, visionary and metaphorical creations.
My work is done on a personal level, taking into account feelings and thoughts as my driving force. I find that making artistic creations that are beautiful is the greatest enjoyment and realize that my inner spiritual strength has helped me to stay focused on my art and positive outlook. I hope my artworks will inspire people of different races and nationalities to come closer, to connect spiritually."
I am a Native American artist/photographer, born and raised in Massachusetts and have been a resident of Revere most of my life.
